5th Grade Sketchbooks
Our 5th graders are working hard on their first assignment, creating a unique cover for their sketchbooks.
The students learned about the different tips and tricks on ways to make a stronger composition. This includes overlapping, rotating, variation in size, off centering and cropping. Next the students needed to brainstorm their composition before creating their final copy.

Final copy phase! The students began working on their final copy in this the students learned about two colored pencil techniques: Value & Color Mixing. The students were required to show some shading as well as color mixing within their project.
