It is important to help each student grow to their fullest potential regardless of their artistic ability. Each of my art projects are designed to meet each student's artistic ability through a range of complexities to meet both developing students needs as well as gifted students needs.
Each lesson plan is created around each of the New York State Standards for the Visual Arts. To make sure that the particular lesson is age appropriate, each lesson is formed based off of the different Lowenfeld Stages.
Within each class, your children will learn about different materials, techniques and the different artists who have impacted the art world. My goal is to make sure that each lesson is relevant to the students' life, making their artwork more meaningful and interesting.
"I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world." Albert Einstein, The Saturday Post, 1926
